The food was disappointing BUT our server made up for it. For a place that established itself as a fine dining restaurant, we had a very disappointing experience. The Drinks - 4/5. They were strong, not going to lie but strong to us is a good thing! I had an irish mule and my bf had one of their specials with tequila as a base. Food - we ordered the bread and the clams as appetizers. Bread was thick and soft, but nothing special. Clams were good, we used the bread to also dip in the pesto like base that the clams were resting in. Entrees - Bf ordered the mushroom pasta and I ordered the new york steak and asked for it to be rare. Apparently something happened to my NY Steak so it wasn't able to be delivered the same time as the mushroom pasta (no big deal) but our server was sweet enough to comp the appetizers for us, gave us free desserts, and was apologizing profusely. Totally not her fault and we get it - it happens! We were having a good time anyway in our corner table drinking our cocktails. Mushroom Pasta was just okay - 3/5. The pasta seemed fresh, but it wasn't anything impressing. NY Steak finally came out - was paired with fingerling potatoes and brocollini. Steak was cooked more to medium as opposed to rare, but we were hungry and decided to just eat it. Felt it wasn't seasoned enough as it lacked some flavor between bites. Desserts - I feel bad for writing a review about the dessert since it was offered to us for free. We had the creme brulee and the chocolate pudding. Creme brulee was too sweet for me so I couldn't even finish after 2 bites. And I am a huge dessert person - so if something's too sweet for me, it says a lot. Chocolate Pudding was very solid, which was interesting to us. It was good! we actually boxed the chocolate pudding to go since we were stuffed and we have marshmallows back at our rental so we are planning to toast it up. Although the food was very bland, we did appreciate the restaurant making things right when there was a mistake on their end. I am not sure when Sapor opened, so perhaps they are still finding their own grounds and solidfying it post pandemic? We did like the quiet and dark atmosphere. Their bistro side is very bright and has a more casual feel to it, very different than their dining side.

We were visiting from out of town and came to Sapor to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary. Ted and his team took wonderful care of us! Very attentive while still giving us plenty of time to enjoy the delicious food. I ordered a drink not on the menu and they accommodated it with ease. The chef (Bubba, I believe his name was) clearly knows what he is doing! This level of food/skill is a rare gem on the peninsula. We enjoyed steak, crab, and short ribs - all clearly fresh and cooked perfectly. And the dessert is not to be missed either. It was the cherry on top to an already delicious meal! I wish we were local so that we could visit more often, but we’ll just have to wait until our next vacation to enjoy Sapor again!

The best service and the food is outstanding. We started with the baked oysters, my wife had the salmon and I had the steak salad. Everything was very fresh and perfectly prepared. We finished up the cheese platter and coffee. Thanks to the entire staff for fabulous evening. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary.

Except the entrance through an alleyway instead of entry through the main road, this restaurant checks out all the boxes of fine dine. Starting from the service, Angie was very accommodating to our dietary restriction and was very courteous. The bar menu was short but really hit the spot. The ambience was good. Coming to the food, it was brilliant! The chef has really nailed down those dishes and has an amazing take on flavors. I would definitely visit this establishment again and recommend it to a friend.

The seafood blew this prairie couple away! We arrived hoping for an intimate, authentic dining experience and we were offered that and more at Sapor. The service was outstanding right from the beginning, and the atmosphere was chic and warm. We were offered the special, which was halibut with beurre blanc sauce, fingerling potatoes, Brussels sprouts and smoked garlic and were blown away. The taste and presentation were on point. My partner and I have dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy) and the chef was able to accommodate. Not only that, the menu clearly states the GF/DF options making ordering easy. And there were so many great options it was difficult to chose. My only fault would be making the entrances more visible! We first tried entering on the street side, and the door was locked and sign was inconspicuous. We left thinking it was closed and luckily we turned down the alley because there was a standup sign on the bistro side marking that entrance. If you’re coming from out of town like us, or just want somewhere to enjoy a beautiful relaxing meal this is the spot. We will definitely return on our next trip to Washington.

2nd time visiting Sapor and it did not disappoint.. We LOVE the crab cakes!! We enjoy the front of the house and especially Ted. The service is top notch. We’ve ordered several items from the menu and everything has been unique and full of flavor. Didn’t get food pics but here are pictures of drinks and desserts. We will be back!!

Went there because all other places were full and had huge waitlists. Came in at 8pm, ordered food and it only arrived at 9pm! Service was very very slow. Calamari was just a basic deep fried thing, but the fish of the day (la Push halibut) was very good. 3.5 stars

The food and drinks here are crazy good. I ate here three times in one week. Tried some fancy items on the menu as well as their hamburger and fries. Can't believe a place this good is in such a small city!
